They played together at the University of Nevada, Reno, and they are now teammates on the Portland Trail Blazers. Former Wolf Pack players Luke Babbitt and Armon Johnson were chosen in the NBA draft and will step up to the big leagues of professional basketball. Babbitt was chosen in the first round of the draft and Johnson in the second. Soon thereafter, Babbitt was signed with a multimillion dollar contract. Johnson's contract was secured after he put in a strong performance during the Las Vegas Summer League in July.
