Winning the GOP nomination to challenge incumbent U.S. Senator Harry Reid has rocketed Sharron Angle from being little-known outside Nevada to national prominence. She has already made her first appearances on Fox News conservative talk shows and is setting up campaign organizations in both southern and northern Nevada. A challenge to Reid to debate on Fox has been declined by the Majority Leader.

At this point in the game, Reid has a tough row to hoe in his quest for a fifth term. A Rasmussen Reports poll taken right after the June 8 primary gives Angle a 50% to 39% lead over the incumbent, with 5% supporting another candidate and 6% undecided. So let's take our own poll.
