According to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters Office, 26,256 early votes were cast as of last Friday. For those who did not vote early, you have from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today to get to your designated polling place to cast your ballot. Most races look like foregone conclusions, but there is still some tussling going on in a couple of big ones.

The polls show Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons coming out the loser against challenger Brian Sandoval. The winner here will most likely face Democrat Rory Reid in November.
A dozen Republicans are vying for the chance to take on incumbent U.S. Senator Harry Reid. There is no runaway GOP candidate in this race, so we'll have to wait till the polls close to see who gets a shot at the Majority Leader.
