American Idol Finalist Kimberley Locke at Arts in Bloom Festival on Mother's Day

The Mother's Day Arts in Bloom Festival at Sparks Marina will have a special guest on Sunday. Kimberley Locke, a season two finalist on American Idol, will be performing on stage at 1 p.m., along with American Idol Associate Musical Director Michael Orland. Other acts scheduled include R & B artists Escalade at 10 a.m. From 11 a.m. to noon, Winter Olympics medalist Shannon Bahrke will sign autographs to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation. At noon, a celebrity-painted plate auction will include works by Linda Ronstadt, Steve Carell, Darius Rucker, Kate Jackson, Rosanne Cash, and more. There will be lots of other activities for moms and families as well during Arts in Bloom, which is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (775) 353-2291.
