The big Cinco de Mayo festival that happened the last few years at Victorian Square in Sparks is history. In it's place, a big outdoor fiesta is planned at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. It sounds like it should be a fitting replacement and a good party. At least I hope so - the Victorian Square festival was always well-attended and lots of fun. The Grand Sierra fiesta will be on May 1 and 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.
