Construction on Reno's new downtown 4th Street Station transit center is moving right along, with opening scheduled for the fall of 2010. If you would like to commemorate a special loved one or perhaps a company, you can purchase a decorative engraved paver that will be laid on the grounds of the new station. Space is limited, so don't tarry if you'd like to participate. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is taking orders on a first come basis through May 31.

Two sizes are available - either 4" x 8" or 8" x 8". Depending on the size, pavers can include three to six lines of engraved text. On the larger paver, company logos can be included. Small pavers are $50 for individuals, families and nonprofit organizations. Large pavers are $200 for businesses or for others interested in displaying additional text or a logo. To order, download an application from the RTC website, then mail or deliver it with payment to RTC Marketing, 1105 Terminal Way, Suite 316, Reno NV 89502. Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 31. For more information, call (775) 332-2147.
