Book Sale Bonanza For The Washoe County Library

It's time once again for the big event book lovers love. The Friends of Washoe County Library Book Sale Bonanza features thousands of items including fiction and non-fiction books, vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, collectibles, Nevada books, and children's books. This is a bargain hunters delight, with prices starting at 50 cents and only 25 cents for children's books.

The sale starts on Friday, April 23, and runs through Sunday, May 2. Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. is preview day for Friends members. If you aren't a member, you can join at the door.

The remaining days are open to the public during these hours:

• Saturday, April 24: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  
• Sunday, April 25: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  
• Monday through Friday, April 26 - 30: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  
• Saturday, May 1, Half-Price Day: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, May 2, Bargain Day: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pick your own bag of books for only $6 (Friends supplies the bag).

The Friends of Washoe County Library Book Sale Bonanza will be at 5205 Mill St. at Edison in Reno (the old Excel Communications building). For more information, call (775) 327-8350.
