Reno and Sparks seniors can get free help with completing and filing their taxes through the AARP Tax-Aide Program. Several locations around the Truckee Meadows have specific times and dates when assistance is available. All but one are walk-in and require no appointment. That doesn't mean you might not have to wait your turn, though. I've been informed that hundreds of people take advantage of this service, so the earlier you can come the less time you'll have to wait for help.
