Our local Reno/Tahoe ski areas are offering some pretty good deals for those interested in spring skiing and wanting to save money on season passes for their 2010-2011 trips to the slopes. There is plenty of snow up there, so spring skiing should be good this year. Here's a roundup of some of the available offers...

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe - Buy a 2010-2011 season pass and ski the rest of this season for free. You can get a beginner pass for the rest of this season and have the cost applied to a full-season pass for next winter. Lots more deals and perks from Mt. Rose - get the details here.

Diamond Peak - If you buy a 2010-2011 season pass now, you get to ski free the rest of this season. There are other perks involved - get the details here.

Alpine Meadows & Homewood - These two Lake Tahoe resorts offer package deals that include both ski areas. Get the details here.

Squaw Valley USA - A variety of deals are available through May 9. Depending on what you buy, you can get spring skiing for the current season. Get all the details here.

Northstar at Tahoe - The Double Whammy pass gives you access to both Northstar and Sierra-at-Tahoe. Special pricing is available through April 30. If you buy a 2010-2011 pass, spring skiing for the rest of the current season is free. Get the details here.
