The Pack Goes Down

Despite a promising start, both Nevada basketball teams lost their semifinal games and were eliminated from the 2010 WAC Basketball Tournament.

The Wolf Pack women lost to Louisiana Tech 80-77. The game was close all the way with multiple lead changes. In the final seconds, a three point attempt by Nevada didn't drop. Louisiana goes to the final on Saturday against Fresno State. The game is at 1 p.m.

The Wolf Pack men lost a real heartbreaker against New Mexico State - final score 80-79. This was despite Luke Babbitt pouring in 33 points for Nevada. New Mexico went up by one point with just seconds to play and held out for the win. The championship game between Utah State and New Mexico State will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
