Julia Mancuso picked up her second silver medal of the Vancouver Winter Games in the women's combined. She finished 0.94 second behind Maria Riesch of Germany. Teammate Lindsey Vonn clipped a gate and went down, taking her out of medal contention.

Torino gold medalist Hannah Teter didn't have quite enough juice to overcome a stellar final run by Australia's Torah Bright, who won halfpipe gold in Vancouver. Teter did win silver and teammate Kelly Clark took the bronze. For Elena Hight of South Lake Tahoe, the games ended with a fall on her final run, taking her out of medal contention.

Congratulations to Evan Lysacek, first American winner in men's figure skating since Brian Boitano in 1988. He defeated defending Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko of Russia.
