It's been a rough ride in 2009. Being an optimist, though, I'm looking for 2010 to be better - nowhere to go from here but up, eh? To nudge things along in the right direction, I've put together a few New Year's resolutions I'm more glad to share. Things can't help but improve if I can just carry out a few of them. Happy New Year!

What a pretty picture! Indeed, the sun is finally setting on 2009, a lousy year for many people. But your resolutions are good ones that would all be smart to make good on. I particularly like spending more time with family and supporting locally owned businesses. Right on!

What a gorgeous sunset! For us, 2009 has been a fairly good year, with a decent economic recovery, thanks to my husband’s investment skills. For those who are still out of a job, the outlook’s not too sunny. Your resolutions offer us some excellent ideas for a sunnier future that can be adapted for wherever we happen to live. Happy WW and Happy New Year!
