Reno Winter Break Camps for Kids

The Reno Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department will be holding winter break camps for kids ages 6 to 15 at various locations around the city. There will be two sessions, each operating from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The first session is December 21 to 24 and the second is December 28 to 31. Note that there is no longer a Thursday registration deadline. Parents can register their children for camp by 9 a.m. the same day as attending with no late fee. Winter Holiday Adventures - for ages 6 to 14, is offered both weeks at the Plumas Gym, Billinghurst Middle School, the Neil Road Recreation Center and the North Valleys Regional Park. Cost is $72 per student for the whole week; $25 for a single day.

Vacation Station - for ages 6 to 14, is held at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center both weeks. Cost is $72 per child for the whole week; $25 for a single day.

Too Cool for Camp - a teen leadership program for ages 13 to 15, is held at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center the week of December 21 to 24. Cost is $72 per student.

Wilderness Camp - an outdoors specialty camp for ages 8 to 14, meets at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center the week of December 28 to 31. Cost is $100.
