This sudden cold snap makes more sense when I see all the snow up yonder. We had an inch of ice last night. Highly unusual for us though probably common place for you. Apparently it snowed to 500 feet last night. It’s really beautiful. I hope we get a nice deep snow pack this year in the Sierras!
Beautiful pic of snow – and sorry the golf course is closed! And I don’t really care what Tiger does – I am soooo over him. What the heck was he thinking???
My uncle lives in South Dakota, and in snows a bit there too. They don’t close all their golf courses, but golf in the show with bright neon orange balls. If you ask me, you have to be pretty intense into golf to golf in the snow. You won’t catch me out there.

I don’t think Tiger will be doing any playing for a long, long time.
Very beautiful. Why would anyone want to play golf when you could walk in that winter wonderland?
No fun. Need to trespass to have a snowball fight.

Wow! winter wonderland!

Beautiful, but you’re right, definitely no golf for a while.

Ah, lovely!! And how funny that someone has already been traipsing around in the forbidden snow, then stopped when they saw the back side of the sign!

Great shot.
Hope you all are enjoying the snow! What fun, as long as you aren’t the one in charge of shoveling the sidewalks or clearing the parking lot…
I live close – in Dayton and got a shot of our snow on Monday too! I so want to go to Tahoe and ski in it right now! BTW, great pic!! http://proverbs-31-wife.blogspot.com/2009/12/snow-day-in-desert.html
Beautiful! It’s hard to believe a golf course is under that snow.
We really enjoy the winter. Its nice to live in Reno, where there are clearly 4 seasons.
