If your children are between 3 and 6, you can arrange for them to receive a phone call from Santa, courtesy of Sparks Parks & Recreation. The calls will be placed on December 15, 16, and 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In keeping with the spirit of the season, Santa is performing this service free of charge. And don't worry, Santa will not be telling your child exactly what he or she is getting for Christmas.

You have to let Santa know who your children are by filling out the call registration form, available online or by calling (775) 353-2385. Forms must be returned to the Alf Sorensen Community Center, 1400 Baring Blvd., by December 14.
