The Nutcracker at the Pioneer Center

The holidays in Reno would not be complete without this 15th annual production of The Nutcracker, presented by A.V.A. Ballet Theatre at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts and accompanied by the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra. Performances are December 11 and 12 at 8 p.m., and December 13 at 2:00 p.m.

The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts is in downtown Reno at 100 S. Virginia St. For show information, call A.V.A. Ballet (775) 762-5165. Tickets are $26 to $51 for adults, and $21 to $41 for children 12 and under and seniors 65 and over. Call (775) 686-6600 to buy tickets by phone, visit the Pioneer Center box office from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, or purchase tickets online.
