Reno's first big snow of the season started Sunday afternoon and hasn't let up as of mid-morning Monday. At my place in south Reno, we've got between six and eight inches with moderate snowfall continuing. I haven't been out and about yet, but it's undoubtedly going to be slow slogging around the city for the next couple of days. Needless to say, travel anywhere in the mountains is hazardous at best - carry those chains and check highway and weather conditions before heading out.
