Meet Reno Authors at Sundance Bookstore

Sundance Bookstore & Music has two upcoming book signing and meet-the-author events, featuring writers and photographers from right here in Reno.

Saturday, December 5, 4 p.m. - Nevada Rock Art, by Peter Goin and Paul F. Starrs, is a fine art, limited edition book featuring the rich heritage of Native American rock art found in Nevada. This book of photographs and accompanying documentation, which was over 20 years in the making, is limited to 1,000 signed and numbered copies. Peter Goin is a professor of art in photography and videography at the University of Nevada, Reno. Paul F. Starrs is a professor of cultural and historical geography at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Tuesday, December 8, 6:30 p.m. - The Treasure Hunt of Your Life: Seeking Your Calling, Encountering God, Finding Yourself, by Rebecca Schlatter, is a guide to help young adults navigate the challenges of life as an adventure in boldness, decision-making, community, and hope. There will be a book reading and discussion with Schlatter, who is a Lutheran pastor in Reno.
