What a great shot! I love the profile view with the lights behind him! here’s my Wordless Wednesday if you’d like to stop by http://www.easyecotogo.com/2009/11/wordless-at-apple-hill.html
I imagine it’s getting a bit chilly evenings out on the street. Although if your weather is anything like ours today was absolutely gorgeous.
Nicely shot. I love street musicians. They so enrich urban areas.
Wow–is that a recorder? Do you remember what he was playing?
Love the contrast in this photo, Stan.
Nice capture, I bet the sound was good as well. Happy WW
Nice job. I like the silhouette effect — you can just feel the music and the moment.
Very artistic shot. Nice use of depth of field. I can almost hear the music!
I think in this day and age we forget how precious music is…it wasn’t long ago that if you wanted to hear music, you’d have to either play it yourself or find other live musicians. Good to see street music is alive in Reno!
A street musician playing the recorder — now that’s interesting! Here in New York, we often see street musicians playing drums, guitars, saxophones, and sometimes even a couple of garbage cans. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen the recorder. That’s unique.
Great snapshot! I love unsuspecting subjects!
Gorgeous shot.
