There are a number of Reno eateries where you are welcome to drink and dine with your leashed, well-behaved canine companion. It kind of goes against what I think of as common sense when it comes to eating out, but what I think isn't always necessarily so. All of the local restaurants allowing dogs to accompany their guests do so alfresco - at the outside seating only. One restaurant on Reno's downtown Riverwalk, the Wild River Grille, offers doggie dining on its patio by the Truckee River every Monday through September. As a bonus to animal lovers, a dollar will be donated to the Shakespeare Animal Fund for each entree purchased. The Wild River Grille is in the Riverside Artists Lofts building, 17 S. Virginia Street. Other Reno doggie diners include...
- Archie's Grill - 2195 N. Virginia St.
- Baja Fresh Mexican Grill - 5140 Kietzke Ln.
- Java Jungle - 246 W. 1st St.
- My Favorite Muffin & Bagel Cafe - 340 California Ave.
- Peg's Glorified Ham & Eggs - 420 S. Sierra St.
- Quiznos - 4965 S. Virginia St.
- Walden's Coffee Co. - 3940 Mayberry Drive
- Crazy Wieners Sports Bar & Grill - 4840 Mill St.
- Silver Peak Restaurant and Brewery - 124 Wonder St.
- Great Basin Brewing Company - 846 Victorian Avenue, Sparks

add Squeeze Inn to the list of dog-friendly establishments!
Stonehouse and Bueno’s are also dog friendly with their outdoor seating and both offer great food!
I have found that Jack’s Restaurant, on Kietzke at Grove, has an outdoor area for dining with your dog. The is the Franktown Corners shopping center. It is being renovated and the breakfast is only $3.65 24/7. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they will provide a water bowl on request.
