There are lots of good things happening during this Father's Day weekend around Reno / Tahoe. If dad is the sporting type, there are deals at Washoe County golf courses and the Truckee River is ripe for rafting (Father's Day weather should be in the 80s). Car buffs can enjoy a visit to the National Automobile Museum in downtown Reno and save money on Father's Day; Sundays feature 2-for-1 admission pricing for locals. There are always plenty of dining choices suitable for dad and the whole family.
On the big events scene, both the Reno Rodeo and Tour de Nez will be in full swing. Depending on dad's tastes, either (or both) could provide a fun family outing over the weekend.
