New dates for "Fresh Air, New Ideas" have been posted. These walks are your chance to talk personally with some of Reno's City Council members in the relaxed, informal setting of a one hour stroll. The idea of meeting with Reno residents and talking about their concerns, away from the stifling confines of government offices, was started by councilwomen Jessica Sferrazza and Sharon Zadra. It's been so successful that additional walks have been scheduled during June. I participated in one last month and found it to be enjoyable and informative.
- June 17 at 4 p.m. - Wednesday Farmer’s Market at Somersett Town Center, meet in front of Whispering Vine.
- June 22 at noon - Damonte Ranch Park, Steamboat Parkway, meet at the pavilion.
- June 29 at noon - Pickett Park, Mill Street across from Renown Health.
