The Legends at Sparks Marina project includes features reflecting Nevada history - cowboys and tumbleweeds, racing airplanes, and native Lahontan cutthroat trout swimming upstream through a series of fountains. When completed, the Legends will be 2 million square feet of various retail, restaurant, and entertainment venues. It's expected to bring 600,000 to 800,000 new visitors annually, in addition to the 5 million tourists who visit the Reno / Tahoe region each year.
There is lots of free parking at Legends, but I'd try to go early to avoid the inevitable traffic snarls. The Legends at Sparks Marina is located at 1555 E. Lincoln Way, at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Sparks Blvd.

The PGA TOUR returns to Reno this summer, August 6th – 9th, 2009 at Montreux Golf and Country Club. It is because of our dedicated volunteers that we can give so much to children’s charities in our community. Any amount of time is greatly appreciated.
We are currently in need of volunteer Marshals. The Marshal duties include: quieting the gallery around tees and greens, controlling crossings and ball spotting.
All volunteers receive:
• Two season passes for you and a guest

• 2 LRTO embroidered golf shirts
• 1 LRTO embroidered golf cap
• Meals for each shift worked
