Fun Family Things to Do Around Reno / Tahoe

"Waaa! There's nothing to do!" Well, yes there is. Reno families will find a variety of things to do in the Reno / Lake Tahoe region. Families with children can choose from amusement parks, art centered activities, and adventures in the great outdoors. Whatever you and your children enjoy doing, there are activities everyone in the family can enjoy. You don't need a pile of money, either. Many of our attractions are inexpensive and some are even free.

For example, admission to Great Basin Adventure in Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is only $5, with kids 3 and under free. It's a terrific place to take younger children. Wild Island in Sparks is quite a bit more expensive, but it's also a lot higher energy with a big water slide park, swimming pools, and other features suitable for bigger kids. Artown during July has literally hundreds of family oriented activities and events, many of which are free to participants. These are only a few of the things families can do together around the Reno / Tahoe region - there are plenty more from which to choose.
