The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority (RSCVA) has created an easy, Web-based way for Reno/Tahoe residents to invite visitors to our destination. These websites provide a summary look at all the unique attractions the area has to offer and provide a way to send an e-postcard invitation to friends and relatives. With our combination of great summer weather and a whole host of unique, fun events, what's not to like? We just need to get those folks here to enjoy our region and give a boost to the economy while they're at it. Despite the sour economy, local governments and businesses are continuing to support a full slate of big events this year.

Starting with the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey at the end of May, the site lists all the cool big events going on through the summer and fall months. We may take these things for granted - Artown, the Sparks Hometown Farmers Market, the Reno Rodeo, Tour de Nez, Hot August Nights, to name a few - but lets share the fun and help potential visitors discover the myriad attractions Reno/Tahoe offers by sending a message from one of these sites:
