The farmer's market season is getting off to an early start. With snow still on the surrounding peaks, the Village at Squaw Valley will be having its first ever Meet Your Local Farmer farmer's market on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be produce from around ten local organic farms and an opportunity to meet Suzanne Peabody Ashworth, owner of Del Rio Botanical organic farm in the Sacramento Valley. Ashworth provides produce to over 60 restaurants and shops in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
