Metro Gallery (City Hall, 1 East First Street) - Photographs by local photog John Molezzo. The exhibit is a series of collages entitled Visions of Reno. Molezzo said, "My images are from memories, some crystal clear, others ghosts that are hard to distinguish at times, bits and pieces like my collages."
Gallery West (McKinley Arts & Culture Center, 925 Riverside Drive) - Exhibit by local photographer Kristin Rosenqvist titled Fire and Water. Rosenqvist photographs with a 35 mm camera, rarely using digital components. This series of photographs illustrate impermanence and awareness through the unstaged and unaltered presentation of her subjects.
Gallery East (McKinley Arts & Culture Center, 925 Riverside Drive) - Exhibition of sculptures called Heirloom by local artist Leah Ruby. The sculptures are meant to be thought provoking enough to inspire viewers to converse to other people about the art and their viewing experience. It is this conversation that she believes is the cornerstone of modern art.
