If you are looking for spring break activities for your children, these Camps for Kids day camps from the City of Reno may be for you. From April 13th through the 17th, the camps will operate Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Camp activities will be held at various locations around Reno, including the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center, Neil Road Recreation Center, Plumas Gym & Park, and Billinghurst Middle School.
  • My First Camp - Age appropriate activities for children ages 6 to 8, at Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.
  • Vacation Station - Field trips, specialty instructors, and other activities for children ages 6 to 14, at Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.
  • Holiday Adventures - At the Neil Road Recreation Center, Plumas Gym & Park, and Billinghurst Middle School, for children ages 6 to 14.
  • Too Cool for Camp - For more experienced campers ages 13 to 15. In addition to fun activities, campers are taught leadership skills and occasionally practice leading youth activities with the other, younger camp groups. Held at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.
Registration for all camps except Vacation Station is due by Thursday, April 9th. Camps do fill up so register early. For details about fees and registration requirements, check the Camps for Kids web page. For more information, contact Heidi, Kevin or Kelly at (775) 334-2262.
