Free is good, and all the better when it is learning useful skills from an expert in her field. Starting on March 25, City of Reno Horticulturist Dianne Stortz-Lintz will be teaching a series of spring gardening classes at West Street Market. The classes, called
Let's Grow at the Market, will be at 6 p.m. on every other Wednesday through June 3. I found about this on the day it started, so we've all missed the first installment. However, there are five more to go. For more information, call (775) 334-2270.
