Reno City Manager Headed to California

According to a March 19 Twitter post by the Reno Gazette-Journal, Reno City Manager Charles McNeely has accepted a similar position with the city of San Bernardino, starting on June 1, 2009. He had interviewed for the job on March 9 and informed the Reno City Council and Mayor Bob Cashell that he was under consideration. McNeely started with Reno in 1996 and his tenure as city manager will have been the city's longest.
