Push, Pull and Drag: Hands-on Science Demonstrations at the Fleischmann Planetarium - Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center at the University of Nevada, Reno, in partnership with local Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 443, will host "Push, Pull and Drag: Hands-on Science Demonstrations," on Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Planetarium on the UNR campus. The event is free and open to all ages. Fleischmann Planetarium is north of Lawlor Events Center at Virginia and 16th Streets, on the UNR campus. Free parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex, level 3, just east of the Planetarium. For more information, call (775) 784-4811.

ACE High School Open House - The Academy for Career Education (ACE) is a charter high school focusing on high academic achievement and the building trades, computer aided drafting and design, and diesel mechanics.The goal is to provide students with the ability to obtain employment or continue on with post-secondary training. An open house for prospective students and their parents will be held at the ACE campus, 2800 Vassar Street in Reno. The event is on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will include informational sessions on each of the three award-winning areas of study and tours of its facilities. Riverwalk Wine Walk - The Riverwalk Merchant's Association is pleased to bring you Wine Walk on the Riverwalk, the third Saturday of every month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Customers can purchase a map and wine glass for $15 and taste over a dozen different wines at merchants throughout the River Walk. VSA Arts of Nevada will also be open to the public during each wine walk for those interested in the Lake Mansion. Volunteers from HRPS (Historic Reno Preservation Society) will be available for a mini-tour of the historic mansion.

Alice in Wonderland at the Pioneer Center - The spring gala season for the A.V.A. Ballet Theatre opens with the classic ballet Alice in Wonderland on March 21st and 22nd, 2009 at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the magnificent score to this wonderful ballet. The Saturday performance will be at 8 p.m. and the Sunday performance will be at 2 p.m. Adult tickets are $26 to $51. Children 12 and under and seniors 65 and older are $21 to $41.
