The 28th Annual Snowfest of North Lake Tahoe and Truckee has something for everyone. Enjoy a wide range of activities at resorts like Squaw Valley USA, Alpine Meadows, Homewood, Diamond Peak, and Northstar-at-Tahoe. There will be special events, parades, races, parties, concerts, theater, and plenty of wining and dining at North Lake Tahoe's fine restaurants and lively establishments. SnowFest kicks off on Friday, February 27, with numerous activities around North Lake Tahoe. The highlight should be the opening night ceremonies at Squaw Valley, with a laser show, torchlight parade, and fireworks display, all followed by a big party in Olympic Plaza.
