Need an environmentally correct way to dispose of those old computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, cords/cables, power supplies, printers, DVD players, TVs, and cell phones? The City of Reno, New2ucomputers, Washoe County, City of Sparks, University of Nevada, Reno, and District Health are joining together with many community sponsors to help residents dispose of electronics for free. This recycling event is on Saturday, January 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Reno Livestock Event Center Community Building, 1350 N. Wells Ave. in Reno. For more information, contact New2ucomputers at (775) 329-1126, or Jason Geddes, City of Reno Environmental Service Administrator, at (775) 334-3311.
