Today's the day for lots of Halloween fun. There are still daylight activities to enjoy, but once the sun goes down, trick or treating becomes the main activity. Since it's Friday, I expect a large contingent of little ghosts and goblins to be combing the neighborhoods. That means we all need to be extra careful when driving because the kids aren't going to be paying attention as they run from house to house.

If you are looking for alternatives to traditional trick or treating, check out Halloween Hollow in Reno's Riverwalk District, or Trick or Treat in the Streets of the National Automobile Museum, 10 S. Lake Street in downtown Reno.

If you are over 21 and looking for adult Halloween parties, there are plenty from which to choose around Reno.
