In the spirit of Halloween, rangers at Bowers Mansion Regional Park will be conducting ghost walks through the historic house and around the park grounds. You'll learn about some of the history and ghostly legends surrounding the mansion, built in 1864 by Comstock millionaire L.S. "Sandy" Bowers and his wife Allison Oram. These tours are for the whole family and include the mansion grounds, hot springs, family grave site, and a look at secrets inside the mansion. Guided walks, on Friday evening, October 24, will begin every 10 minutes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for kids under 17 with a paying adult. Bowers Mansion Regional Park is at 4005 Old US 395, on the west side of Washoe Valley, a few miles south of Reno.

You don't have to wait until October 31st to have some Halloween fun. Besides the Bowers Mansion, there are several other Halloween events happening this weekend, such as safe trick or treating at Shoppers Square, the Kit Carson Trail Ghost Walk in Carson City, and the Haunted Weekend in Carson Valley.

The Reno Psychic Fair is this Saturday and Sunday at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center at 4590 S. Virginia St., Reno. Hours are Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
