With Nevada being seen as a swing state, we are getting lots of attention from the presidential campaigns. McCain and Obama have stumped around the state and will probably be back before voters cast their ballots. Meanwhile, at least one of the vice-presidential nominees will be campaigning our way.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican candidate for vice president, is making a stop in Carson City on Saturday, September 13, at 5 p.m. The rally will be at Mills Park at the Pony Express Pavilion, 888 N. Saliman Road. Approximately 3,500 people can be accommodated. The event is open to all, but organizers are requesting an RSVP from those wanting to attend. To do so, call (702) 425-8845 or email palinnevada@gmail.com.
