If you've been waffling about going to
Burning Man 2008, you need to make up your mind by Friday or you won't be going for sure. That's when official ticket sales end. If you get to Reno by Friday and still don't have tickets, your only hope is The Melting Pot at 1049 S. Virginia Street, (775) 322-9445. As long as they last, they are $295 a pop, cash only. There will be no ticket sales at the gate in 2008, so don't even think about going to Black Rock City without tickets in hand (or at least at Will Call).
I'll be in Black Rock City for a few days, including Saturday, the night the man burns. The whole thing is an amazing event which I find endlessly fascinating. See you on the playa.
