There are lots of good things happening during this Father's Day weekend around Reno / Tahoe. If dad is the sporting type, there are deals at Washoe County golf courses and the Truckee River is ripe for whitewater rafting (Father's Day weather should be perfect). Car buffs can enjoy a visit to the National Automobile Museum in downtown Reno and save money on Father's Day; the Sunday Drive features 2-for-1 admission pricing. There are always plenty of dining choices suitable for dad and the whole family.
Down south, the Carson City Rendezvous will be in full swing. The Stewart Father's Day Pow-Wow is also going on this weekend in Carson City. Dads who are steam train fans can get a free ride at the Nevada State Railroad Museum.
