This is a great shot, but even moreso, it gives me the feeling of having adventured all day and getting rewarded by a great view of the moon. thanks for sharing this one, so you really get a great view like that? Jealous!

I haven’t been to Tahoe since I was about four, but I always remember it as pine forest, not desert. Am I mistaken? Where was that taken?

The photo was taken along the Huffaker Hills trail, about five minutes from my house. It’s in south Reno, a piece of undeveloped open space within the urban area. At other spots along the trail, you can see most of Reno, including the downtown skyline.
