The Love Guru Stirs Up Controversy in Reno and Beyond
Rajan Zed is a Hindu chaplain who is active in northern Nevada interfaith associations, teaches college courses on Hinduism, and actively promotes tolerance and understanding among world religions. He has opened legislative sessions with Hindu prayers in several states, including Nevada. He received national attention on opening a session of the U.S. Senate in 2007 while being harrassed by hecklers.

Devotees love their Guru and therefore wish to forestall anything demeaning to their Guru.
If the movie somehow depicted my Guru in an incorrect or disrespectful way, then i would have something to be concerned about.
I haven’t seen the movie but took a look at the trailer. It seems to poke fun at the fake self-proclaimed baba/gurus.
The world is a humourous place - we need to laugh more. Its good for our physical and mental health. The saying goes ‘If you can’t laugh at yourself you are missing a good joke’.
