On April 1, City Council members Jessica Sferrazza and Dave Aiazzi, together with involved community organizations, announced the start of Reno's Spring Clean & Green. Each Saturday during April, Reno residents will be able to get rid of one 8-foot truck bed of household and/or yard waste at no charge. Collection activities will be at various locations around the city, moving each weekend so everyone gets a shot at a nearby dump site. You can't just toss in anything, so be sure to ask about restricted items, such as pesticides and other hazardous waste.

Find the date and location near you at the Reno Clean & Green website. You can also volunteer to help at a collection site by using the online volunteer form.
