The 27th Annual SnowFest of North Lake Tahoe and Truckee is in full swing. SnowFest kicked off February 29th and continues through March 9th. Snow-based events are held at many nearby ski areas like Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, and Diamond Peak. Other events and activities are planned at locations in towns around North Lake Tahoe; Incline Village, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe City, Kings Beach, and Truckee.
The Great Ski Race was on Sunday, but there's lots more fun all week. SnowFest has events for the whole family, so check out the SnowFest Official Event Calendar for dates, times, and places. And by the way, the snowpack right now is in excellent shape for winter fun.
